Our story

First established in the late 1940s by her grandparents, The Herb Farm, Ivegill, is being restored to life by Rachel and her husband, John.

Re-establishing the herb gardens and learning the craft of blending teas and herbal teas while they do it, their aim is to be producing teas and other herbal goods made entirely from plants grown on their own land at The Herb Farm, Ivegill, within the next two years.

You can follow the progress as the new herb patches are marked out, sheeted over for winter to clear the grass, and gradually returned to productivity here. In the meantime, they are delighted to offer a selection of handcrafted artisan teas, presented in generously filled teabags with plenty of room for a slow, satisfying infusion—made from carefully chosen teas and herbal stocks. Every element, from pouch to teabag, is fully compostable.
